2026 Project Overview
A clean visual map of the whole project: Dutch exit, Thailand DTV path, proof-of-funds setup, and the travel sequence from Europe to Morocco, Jakarta, and back into Thailand.
Dutch exit anchor
freelancer / ZZP file
€15,000+ target
28 Aug = outer limit
- Exit the Netherlands cleanly on the right timeline
- Keep the DTV story simple and consistent
- Preserve clean financial proof for the visa file
- Hit the Thailand return window without breaking the day-count logic
- Sequence later setup tasks without letting them distort the core move
Where the project stands right now
The project is in the Dutch exit execution window. The strategic structure is mostly decided; the challenge now is sequencing, timing, and avoiding unnecessary stress while keeping the core deadlines intact.
Dutch exit on 31 March
BRP deregistration, KVK deregistration, final invoicing, and Dutch insurance exit all cluster around this date.
Pack + lock the Morocco flight
The immediate practical focus is to keep the week manageable while still moving the plan forward.
Insurance moved out of the panic zone
On the dashboard version, nomad insurance was intentionally pushed toward a calmer mid-April decision window.
The decisions that are already settled
These are the choices that now anchor the rest of the plan. They reduce uncertainty and prevent the project from drifting.
Jakarta is the active DTV path
- Primary move: Morocco → Jakarta on 1–2 Aug
- Fallback move: 8–9 Aug
- Vietnam remains fallback only
The DTV file stays freelancer-based
- Use the freelancer / ZZP story
- Do not use the Hong Kong company as the visa narrative
- Keep the file simple and coherent
French passport only for Thai visa matters
- French passport is the active official passport
- Moroccan passport is not part of the DTV route
Revolut personal account is the proof-of-funds account
- Use fiat in a personal account
- Maintain €15,000+ as practical safety target
- Keep clean month-end statements for May / June / July
The travel spine
This is the physical route the rest of the admin work is designed to support.
Main timeline
The project really has four operational chapters: Dutch exit, runoff/admin cleanup, DTV proof-building, and the final Asia move.
Final March invoice, BRP prep and submission, KVK deregistration, Dutch insurance exit, and proof of deregistration / RNI.
Q1 VAT return, ABN Amro payment runoff, mobile line cleanup, final Dutch loose ends.
Hold the Revolut balance above threshold, preserve clean month-end statements, and assemble the freelancer submission pack.
Be in Morocco on 31 Jul, move to Jakarta on the chosen window, then re-enter Thailand by 23 Aug if possible.
M-form filing and any Belastingdienst refund-account cleanup.
The workstreams inside the project
Seeing the project as lanes makes it easier to understand what is strategic, what is administrative, and what is just supporting logistics.
