The new Amsterdam → Paris → Vesoul plan is slightly more expensive than the Basel variant, but much friendlier for luggage and gives a better arrival buffer on Friday.
The Paris Est → Vesoul train arrives at 12:10, which is much more comfortable for the 14:00 event start.
The return via Lyon on Tuesday evening remains the most comfortable option because it preserves the workday and avoids a stressful Monday airport transfer.
